Cesar and his wife Lucy were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like part of their family. The food was delicious, and the views from our room were stunning. Despite the lack of a guest shower, the overall experience was well worth it. I highly recommend this lodge for a unique and unforgettable stay.

The owner was really helpful and showed us how the islands are built. We had a private tour on the lake and the food was amazing. The 3-course menu for dinner and lunch was delicious, especially the meals made by the owner's wife. Additionally, we were picked up at the bus station early in the morning, which was really convenient after a long night bus ride.

The cold temperature at night, but the owner provided hot water bottles and plenty of blankets to keep us warm. Another minor drawback was the lack of a guest shower, but it was a small sacrifice for the authentic experience of staying with an Uros family on a floating reed island.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uros Samarana Uta Lodge. Cesar, our host, was fantastic. He picked us up from our hotel and took us to his lovely lodge. The private boat tours were a highlight, with Cesar sharing his knowledge about the community and life in Uros. Lucy, his wife, prepared delicious homemade meals for us. The small group size and non-touristy atmosphere made the experience even more special. We got to visit a floating school and try line fishing with locals. The authenticity and tranquility of the lodge were unmatched. The view and stars at night were breathtaking.
